Nothing is free in this world?

Have you heard this before?  I have..a few times in my life.  Do you agree?

Well, I never agreed.

The most obvious reason was that I knew that I myself was capable of–and have–,in fact, given of myself or possessions..expecting nothing in return.  I’ve tried not to have too many days like this:

Lol. As referenced in my earlier post, “Black people should allow whites to use the ‘N’ word.” “That clip above was the “Collection Plate” scene from Eddie Murphy’s hilarious 80’s comedy film, “Coming to America”.

Now back to the topic at hand:

I’d find myself perplexed every now and again as to how many people I’ve heard repeat that very same cliché..as if they couldn’t conceive anyone doing this..not even themselves.  None of you have given of yourselves or possessions for free??  Never??

Lol. What kind of beings am I sharing the planet with?  Anyway, on that account, I was able to legitimately invalidate this cliché..silently..to myself.  No matter what anyone said or thought, I knew that it wasn’t true..because of me.
