KG/Reemo’s – Ruff Cut Projects & Performances (Part 4)
Below is Part 4 of my brief blog series of songs that I’ve recorded in the past…all of which I co-wrote on. This installment covers tracks I recorded along with my popular, unsigned, early ‘2000’s R&B singing group at the time called, MR. JAK. The group name was an acronym of the first letters of each of our the first names: Matthew, Robert, Junior, Andre and Kareem. We also had descriptive “jak” nicknames based on our personalities, appearances or vocal capacities: Low-jak, Hungry-jak, Diamond-jak, Krackar-jak & Blak-jak (I was Blak-jak!).
A couple of the following tracks are ruff-cuts…meaning they’re not completed (not fully recorded, mixed or mastered). I just felt I’d free them from my private collection of past projects and immortalize them on my website.
