The Root of Evil (Updated)
Evil is unjust. Evil intentionally harms…and even destroys values. But what is the root of evil? “Money” has often been asserted as the answer to that question. Understandably so, since it’s probably become such a popular saying from being found in the bible. Although this blog post is not intended to be religion-based, I’ll mention that I did grow up quite religious. I was even educated in private religious schools up until college..which was only private. And during my early twenties when I started evolving as a person..as a free thinker, I started to graduate out from the limitations of religious dogma. I’ve maintained the belief that all that exists in this world was created by a supreme power…the source of life. And I still appreciate the positive effects that a religious mindset can have on the building of one’s character. But, there are other effects that cause unnecessary confusion, guilt, separation when it comes to people in society (I’ll likely cover that in future blog post).
That being said, I’ve concluded upon digging deeper, that the root of evil is….insecurity. (Updated. See “UPDATE:” Below)
I’ll explain…
Put accurately, an irrational response to ones own insecurity is, in fact, the root of any evil. Consider the stories we’ve all heard in which someone harms or even murders their significant other for cheating. It can be identified that that intention was born from provoked jealousy, embarrassment, a feeling of having been betrayed. These emotions can create a void…a lacking…thus, a feeling of inadequacy, which causes insecurity. It is at this point when a weaker individual chooses to try to “pull himself up” by taking others down—To fill that “void” by destroying values, rather than put forth honest, rational effort to create in oneself greater value. Now consider this: In any form of competition, the first one to cheat was always the weaker one to begin with. For he feels the need to compensate for that which he believes he’s lacking…by cheating. What I am saying is that one can observe that an irrational response to ones own “insecurity”–the feeling of the unpleasant belief of one’s lacking–is the common denominator present at the root of all malevolent-or evil–intention.
Another way to look at it is… Evil= Irrational Weakness.
UPDATE:
After even deeper thought, I’ve I reached the deepest understanding on this matter. And so I have resolutely come to the conclusion that the “Root of Evil” is truly in fact, Nothing. Since God was the beginning of all things, God is Good and God is Everything.–Then Evil is in fact, nothing..and nothing has no beginning. Once God-identified the concept of “evil”, he then, actually identified that it defined the concept of “good“..for evil is the opposite of good. And all things are defined by their opposite. (See Chapters 1 & 2 in my later blog post entitled: The Greatest Love <3 ). If under true circumstances the experience of good is pleasure, then the de-experience of evil is, in fact, pain. Therefore, the good are to exist eternally in heaven and the evil are to de-exist eternally in hell.
*NOTE 1*: “Evil” first be-came two generations after God had already created the female half of the/his Divine Essential Whole. The entity that the world, since early history, has referred to as Satan was actually God and his Goddess’ first grandchild (See “*NOTE 2.*” below) & (See my later blog post entitled: The Truth About Everything ).
*NOTE 2*: The story of Adam and Eve is a misinterpretation..like a number of other transpirations depicted in the Bible–which, despite this fact, is overall one of the most important books ever written.
*NOTE 3*: Finally– in summation, evil is inherently insecure…and irrationally so..for that matter. And as already stated, evil can also be understood as irrational weakness. And the Root of Evil is..NOTHING.

Now, I thought this song was fitting to musically illustrate this post. For those of you who’ve never heard it before, it’s skillfully crafted lyrics of graphic content by two of the best rap artists who ever lived: The Notorious B.I.G. feat. Eminem in..“Dead Wrong”.
